Title: West Asian Studentsí Experience with Infrastructural Facilities and Services in Selectedpublic Universities in Malaysia

Abstract:The purpose of this research is to survey the satisfaction level of West Asian students with the facilities and
services provided in the five selected public universities in Malaysia. The randomly selected sample involves
262 students from five selected public universities in Malaysia, that is, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM),
Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and International
Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Focus in this research is on West Asian students who study in these public
universities. Further, comparison is made between UKM,UM,USM,UPM and IIUM. Data is collected using
questionnaire and analysed using software Statistical Packages For Social Sciences (SPSS). The outcome of
research data analysis obtained shows the level of satisfaction of West Asian students with the facilities and
services provided by the public universities is average with the highest mean score at 3.00 for UPM. It is hoped
that research outcome may guide the management of public universities to improve or restore and upgrade the
existing facilities
